Barrel Brokers is a husband and wife team founded in the Yarra Valley. Formed after a deep love of whisky, wine, craft beer and of course, the art of coopering and barrels.

The business now has two sites, one in Lilydale Victoria & another in Corowa where our Murray River Cooperage is located. Both offices are surrounded by an abundance of wineries, breweries and distilleries.

Murray River Cooperage is headed up by John Carberry who was a Master Cooper in Scotland’s best cooperages for over 30 years bringing with him expertise from the UK’s most famed distilleries. 

“We are spoilt for choice and have options on hundreds of quality used fortified barrels which we specialise in. We also source spirit barrels in both large and small formats as well as buying and selling secondhand distillery, brewery and winery equipment. There is nothing we can’t source.” Says Robbie.
